Visual artist and producer Choi Yoonsuk also produces performances and screenings. In 2017, Choi invited his colleagues for a Relay Lecture Performance addressing their common concerns through a public speech format. He also presented Glass Mirror at Doosan Art Center in 2017, Life and Work and Work and Life at Shinhan Gallery in 2014, and had a solo screening at Theatre Sinchon in 2017. His major solo exhibitions include Unassailable Assets at Space O’NewWall in 2015, and he was invited to partake in major exhibitions such as Video Portrait at Total Museum of Contemporary Art in 2017 and Another O at Doosan Gallery in 2015.

Cha Mihye studied at Kaywon University of Art & Design and École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA). Cha held two solo exhibitions, Echo, Inescapable and Full, Empty, Floating, and has participated in a number of group exhibitions including 2015 Random Access and Outside of the Gray Zone. The artists also participated in residency programs with the SeMA NANJI Residency and MMCA Residency Changdong Project 2016. Cha was awarded at the Ninth Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul, Avid Award Korean Competition, and in 2015, was selected as a SeMA Emerging Artist by Seoul Museum of Art. Gihun Noh graduated from Chung-Ang University with a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. in photography in 2010 and 2012 respectively. In 2015, Noh was awarded the Eighth SKOPF (KT&G Sangsangmadang Korean Photographer’s Fellowship) Artist of the Year and received the Eleventh National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Residency at Goyang. Numerous shows he has participated in include Mise-en-Scène at Space Nowhere, The Un-bound Archive at Arko Art Center, Off and Free International Expanded Cinema and Art Festival at Seoul Museum of Arts, and New Force of Photography 2016 at Goeun Museum of Photography.

Cho Ikjung earned her B.F.A. in painting at Ehwa Womans University and graduated from Chelsea College of Arts in London, the UK. In Korea, Cho participated in group shows including one at DOOSAN Gallery and presented the solo exhibition You Guys Are Y'all at Corner Art Space and Spot at Post Territory Ujeongguk. The artist has shown her works at different public spaces in New York and London.

Jeong Seyoung majored in theater at Hoseo University and visual arts and stage design at École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques de la Ville de Monaco. Jeong also studied performance at the National Choreographic Centre of Montpellier in France. In 2014, the artist served as artist-in-residency at the former Seoul Art Space Hongeun (now Seoul Dance Center), and since then, he has shown various works exploring the borders between modern art, dance, and theater work. Jeong won first prize at Danse élargie, a competition that has presented an expanded form of dance and experimental art, for one of his series of works, Deux ex Machina, in 2016.

Oh Min earned a BM in piano performance at Seoul National University and a BFA in industrial design and visual design at the same school. Oh also received a MFA in graphic design from Yale University. The artist served as an artist-in-residency for the New York Artists Alliance; Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, France (with support of Samsung Foundation) and received the sixth Doosan Artist Award. Oh has held solo exhibitions such as 1 2 3 4 at Doosan Gallery in 2016, Trio at D Project Space, Daelim Museum in 2015, The Suite at De Nederlandsche Bank Art Gallery in Amsterdam in 2012 and has participated in exhibitions held at MMCA, Seoul Art Space Mullae, and Kukje Gallery.

Kim Borahm graduated from Hongik University with a BFA in woodworking and furniture design and earned her MFA in digital media design at the International Design School for Advanced Studies (IDAS), Hongik University. As a long-time working professional in the field of computer graphics, Kim has shown various works based on various spaces since 2012 by employing different media such as videos, sound, installations, performances, and mobile applications at several events including the Seoul International New Media Festival (NEMAF), Hi Seoul Festival, and Ansan Street Arts Festival. The artist is scheduled to present an exhibition at Gallery Factory next year and is currently preparing for an app-based site-responsive performance, Plug-in City.

Lee Sujin graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art and received a master’s degree in studio art and performance studies at New York University. Lee received the Millay Colony for the Arts Residency, Robert W. Simpson Fellowship in 2009, and the A.I.R. Gallery Fellowship in 2012 and 2013. In 2016, the artist was selected as one of SeMA’s Emerging Artists to hold her first solo exhibition The Distance between Words at Cake Gallery.

Yi Yunyi studied modern poetry Korea in the Department of Creative Writing at Seoul Institute of the Arts, and she earned a BFA in fine arts and an MFA in integrated media arts at Hunter College, New York, USA. Since 2012, Yi has participated in several group exhibitions and residencies both domestically and internationally to present her art world, and in 2014 she held her first solo exhibition A Round Turn and Two Half-Hitches.

Born in 1981 in Seoul, Korea, Choi Yoonsuk earned a BFA in Western painting at Chung-Ang University in 2007 and an MFA in painting from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, in 2011. Choi has held a number of group exhibitions, performances, and screening events in several countries around the world including Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Belgium. The artist has also participated in a special exhibition titled Life and Work and Work and Life held at Shinhan Gallery in June 2014 and Another O, a Doosan curatorial workshop.

Founded by Lee Saem, Jun Bokyung and Jin Narae in 2012, the Enterprise of Temporary Consensus (ETC) is an artist collective which dubs itself as a virtual enterprise based on temporary consensus between three artists. The enterprise provides intangible artistic services under the vision of a “business hub for a human centered society and the future of art.” It also views social phenomena from the viewpoint of an artist who is marginalized in society and reconstitutes the borders between truth and fiction through their unique, artistic imagination.     

Born in 1978 in Seoul, Korea, Yoo Mokyon studied photography for his undergraduate and graduate degrees but worked for seven years at a trading company, which had no relation to his studies. It wasn’t until 2011 that Yoo started working as an artist after participating in a workshop for up-and-coming artists held by Arko Art Center. Currently, the artist continues to work on photography while his recent works present a novel, unfamiliar objet or situation regardless of place, prompting unexpected encounters and communications. Exhibitions where he presented include Overture 2, Photography at PKM Gallery in 2011, Mokyon Pocha at Seoul Art Space Seogyo in 2013, Shared Isolation at Kumho Art Museum in 2013, and the Seoul Art Space Festival held by Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture at Seoul Citizens Hall in 2013. After attaining residencies at Cheongju Art Studio in 2012 and Kumho Art Studio in 2013, since 2014 he has been working at the Artist Residency TEMI in Daejeon, Korea.    ​
