• KDK Artist

    KDK studied photography at the Seoul Institute of the Arts before completing Meisterschueler and Akademiebrief courses at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany. He has produced many photographs for diverse solo and group exhibitions, including Facility Skins at the Michael Schultz Gallery Seoul in 2011, [b] at Gallery 2 in 2012, Out Of In in Berlin in 2016, and [p] at Perigee Gallery in 2015. He also worked as an artist-in-residence at the SeMA Nanji Residency in 2009, the Changdong Studio in 2010, and the Cité internationale des arts in 2017.

  • Kwon Hyewon Artist

    Kwon Hyewon graduated from the School of Film, TV and Multimedia, Korea National University of Arts, before studying media art at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL in London, UK.
    She was selected for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries in 2011, and received the Excellence Prize (Ususang) at the 34th Joong-Ang Fine Arts Prize (Excellence Prize). Kwon worked as the artist-in-residence at the SeMA Nanji Residency in 2016, and the Goyang Residency in 2017.
    Recently, she has participated in such events as Common Front, Affectively held at the Nam June Paik Art Center and The Arrival of New Women at the Deoksugung Gallery of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

  • Cha Mihye Artist

    Cha Mihye studied at Kaywon University of Art & Design and École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA). Cha held two solo exhibitions, Echo, Inescapable and Full, Empty, Floating, and has participated in a number of group exhibitions including 2015 Random Access and Outside of the Gray Zone. The artists also participated in residency programs with the SeMA NANJI Residency and MMCA Residency Changdong Project 2016. Cha was awarded at the Ninth Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul, Avid Award Korean Competition, and in 2015, was selected as a SeMA Emerging Artist by Seoul Museum of Art.   • Noh Gihun Artist

    Gihun Noh graduated from Chung-Ang University with a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. in photography in 2010 and 2012 respectively. In 2015, Noh was awarded the Eighth SKOPF (KT&G Sangsangmadang Korean Photographer’s Fellowship) Artist of the Year and received the Eleventh National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Residency at Goyang. Numerous shows he has participated in include Mise-en-Scène at Space Nowhere, The Un-bound Archive at Arko Art Center, Off and Free International Expanded Cinema and Art Festival at Seoul Museum of Arts, and New Force of Photography 2016 at Goeun Museum of Photography.

  • Gim Ikhyun Artist

    Born in 1985 in Seoul, Korea, Gim Ikhyun studied Photography and Media Art at Sangmyung University. His major works include Distance, Depth (2010–2016), which explores monuments in Korea, Link Path Layer (2012–2016) on closed mines in Korea, and A Future Where Everyone is Connected (2016), a project on Google Street View’s algorithm. Gim has held several exhibitions at various venues including SeMA and Platform-L.

  • Lee Chunghyung Artist

    Born in 1983 in Seoul, Korea, Lee Chunghyung graduated from Hongik University with a BFA in ceramic art and an MFA in sculpture. Lee emerged as a notable artist for his artworks created from his reinterpretation of the records on the work sites he was working on as a technical director of a gallery. In 2015, his first solo exhibition Fine Works was held at Space Willing N Dealing, while he presented at several group shows. Lee still works at the exhibition space, which continuously provides him with a motif for his works.

  • Chang Yujung Artist

    Chang Yujung studied sculpture and art history at Ewha Womans University and earned an MFA in fine arts at Goldsmiths, University of London. Since 2007, Chang has held several solo exhibitions at Gallery Skape, the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art (GMoMA) Project Gallery, Youngeun Museum of Contemporary Art, SSamzie Space, and Art First Gallery in the UK and has participated in group shows at Busan Museum of Art, The Museum of Photography, Insa Art Space, and DOOSAN Gallery. Her works are collected by Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art; Seoul Museum of Art; Daelim Museum; and Goldsmiths, University of London, UK.

  • Kang Hyunseon Artist

    Kang Hyunseon graduated from Seoul National University with a BFA in Western painting and received MFAs from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and a PhD from Middlesex University. Kang also completed doctoral courses in the Department of Art of Seoul National University. In 2005, the artist was awarded the Award of Excellencein the JoongAng Fine Arts Prize competition. She first presented her works at SADI Window Gallery and Galleria Milarte in Milan, Italy, and has held the solo exhibitions Hidden Passage in 2012 at Motor Gallery in Lisbon, Portugal; Dual City at Gong Art Space in Seoul, Korea; and Apart-Scape in 2014 at the KAIST Research & Art Gallery in Seoul, Korea.

  • Yoo Youngjin Artist

    Since 2012, Yoo Youngjin has showed various artworks and graduated from the School of Performing Arts and Media, Chung-Ang University, with a B.F.A. in photography in 2012. Various projects he has participated in include the Public Art Projeat UNUS Space and the Art Factory Project at Sunset Janghang Festival, both in 2012. Yoo has also participated in several group exhibitions such as Artflash at the KIAF in 2012 and Peep! at Songwon Art Center in 2013. A number of international group exhibitions he has presented include In Transit at the European Month of Photography Berlin and Alt. +1000 festival de photographie in Switzerland.

  • Ahn Sungseok Artist

    Born in 1985 in Suwon, Ahn Sungseok studied photography and visual media at Sangmyung University. After graduation, he has showed various works that recombine images based on his photo shoots. Ahn received much attention from the art world as he was awarded ​the​ SeMA -​Selected eMerging Artist​in 2009 for Historic Present, a series of works that highlighted the past and present of historic architecture, and was named a Selected Emerging Artist by the Monthly Photo Art in 2010. Recently the artist has explored the borders between the virtual world and reality through computer programming. Infinity and Beyond (Brain Factory, 2012) and Open Path (Work On Work Office, 2013) are among several solo exhibitions and a number of group shows he has presented.

  • Ki Seulki Artist

    Ki Seulki earned a diploma in photography from Seoul Institute of the Arts and a B.F.A. in photography from Sangmyung University in 2007. From 2010 to 2012, Ki studied and received an M.F.A. in fine art at Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. In 2013, she held her first solo exhibition, Unfamiliar Corner, at Gallery Chosun, and has participated in a number of group exhibitions such as the Photography Criticism Award Exhibition at Artbit Gallery in 2008 and the Gwanghwamun International Art Festival in 2013. Ki was awarded the Ninth Photography Criticism Award in 2007 and was selected as an up-and-coming artist by Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) in 2013.

  • Lee Yunho Artist

    Lee Yunho studied urban engineering and sculpture at Hongik University. In 2009, Lee left a strong impression on the audience at a PechaKucha 20x20 presentation, and in the same year he held solo exhibitions such as cafe MU: and 15 DAYS ONLY SHOW, PLATFORM PLACE 100 DAYS ONLY SHOP in Seoul. Several other group exhibitions he participated in include GOD SAVE THE MONA LISA at Gallery Plant in 2010, SOUND UN-RESISTANT HOUSE, and AMQ #1, LOWRISE in 2012.
