Artist

Shin Jungkyun

Born in Seoul, Korea, Shin Jungkyun graduated from Seoul National University with a BFA in Western painting and media art and an MFA in Western painting. His works explore the unique situation of Korea, such as the division of the country, through a process of making collections and records of the objects he encountered throughout the country. Shin has held solo exhibitions such as 《Uncovered Trace》 at SongEun Art Cube in 2013 and 《A Closed Book》 at Art Space O in 2013 and has participated in a number of group shows.
