After graduating from Korea National University of Arts with a BFA in fine arts, Ahn Jisan finished a graduate program in painting at Frank Mohr Institute in the Netherlands in 2011. Based mainly in the Netherlands, the artist has held two solo exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions held in the Netherlands, Korea, and Germany. Ahn also received residency from Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. He returned to Korea in 2015, and he has actively showed his works since then.
