Chang Sungeun

Chang Sungeun earned her BFA from the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in 2006 and her MFA in Visual Arts from Université Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne in 2007. Her first solo exhibition, 《Virtualité》held in 2007 at the Korean Cultural Center in Paris, France, was followed successively by 《Inhabit/Live, the Body Lives》 (Trunk Gallery, Seoul, 2010), 《force-form》 (Space Willing N Dealing, Seoul, 2012), 《LOST FORM》 (Daelim Museum, D Project Space Guseulmoa Danggujang, Seoul, 2013), 《Writing Play》 (Amado Art, Seoul, 2016) and 《I swallow the description》 (BMW Photo Space, Seoul, 2018). Chang has also participated in a large number of group exhibitions, including 《Exposition of Mythology-Electronic Technology》 (Nam June Paik Art Center, 2009), 《SPACE STUDY》 (PLATEAU, Seoul), 《In the Flâneur's Eyes》 (Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art, 2016), and 《The Phenomenon of the Mind: Facing Yourself》 (Museum of Contemporary Art Busan, 2019). Chang was the winner of the 2016 Amado Photography Award.
