Jiyoung Yoo

Jiyoung Yoo is a South Korean-born artist who is based in London and Seoul. Questioning the conventional conditions of painting, Yoo explores relationships between objects within the system of arrangement developed based on their uses. Since she graduated with an MA degree in Painting from the Slade School of Fine Art (2017), she has participated in various exhibitions and has been awarded grants and residencies, among which include: Seoul Art Space Geumchoen (2021); Korean Eye 2020 (2020); Kaitak Centre, AVA HKBU (2018); and Contemporary Visions 8, Beers London (2017).
