Artist

Lim Nosik

LIM Nosik majored in Oriental Painting at Hongik University, Seoul, and achieved an MFA in Fine Arts from Korea National University of Arts, Seoul. The artist works with his personal experiences in which he finds artificial conditions and traces within nature. Furthermore, he narrates situations that happen around borders in diverse spaces.
If his early work focused on the landscape near his studio, his recent work will address his hometown Yeoju, which was the theme of his work a few years ago. Nevertheless, while LIM will maintain the process of keeping the distance between the place where he finds the image and the space where the work will be realized, he will experiment on extending the distance between the spaces
