Hannah Woo's practice is based on installation art. Depending on the situation the work emphasizes three-dimensional aspects, or on sound. Her interest lies in isolated and overlooked emotions and phenomena under social norms, which she presents as an object, person, or place. Since the story is essential in this process, she tends to think in narratives. For example, in a situation that is hard to understand, she imagines herself a protagonists who is facing a crisis, and attempts to find and carry out what she can do right away. She would like to create diverse and beautiful stories that naturally emerge and vanish somewhere out there.
