Woo Jeongsu

Woo Jeongsu graduated from Korea National University of Arts with a BFA and MFA in visual arts. Woo illuminates the other side of a society and its contradictions by borrowing images of various subcultures, which have deviated from the mainstream culture, in his dense drawings. Since 2007, the artist has participated in several exhibitions such as MMCA, Cheongju(2019), Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul(2019), Mimesis Art Museum, Paju(2018), Doosan gallery, Seoul(2017), Artcenter White block, Paju(2013), Sungkok museum, Seoul(2010)
