Mihye Cha studied at Kaywon University of Art & Design and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA). Cha held two solo exhibitions, Echo, Inescapable and Full, Empty, Floating, and has participated in a number of group exhibitions including 2015 Random Access and Outside of the Gray Zone. The artists also participated in residency programs with the SeMA NANJI Residency and MMCA Residency Changdong Project 2016. Cha was awarded at the Ninth Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul, Avid Award Korean Competition, and in 2015, was selected as a SeMA Emerging Artist by Seoul Museum of Art.
