The Ilmin Museum of Art introduces the currents of contemporary visual culture. Through producing exhibitions on national and international current, public, and contemporary visual culture, the Ilmin Museum of Art seeks to create a dynamic platform for the discussion and understanding of the aesthetic values our time and people. To achieve this we host a variety of exhibition programs and lectures, creating opportunities for understanding contemporary visual culture from many angles. The Ilmin Museum of Art also runs the country’s only documentary archive, regularly hosting screenings; and publishes Ilmin Visual Culture, a periodical on the theory of visual culture. Though these efforts we're dedicated to the archivization of images.
