《Yun Hyong-keun》, one of the most reputed exhibitions held at MMCA Seoul in 2018, goes on tour to the Palazzo Fortuny, a civic museum representative of Venice, from May 11 to November 24, 2019, in time for the Venice Biennale. The exhibition with its foundation in the past MMCA Seoul exhibition held in August 2018, gathers additional works by Yun from Korea and around the world to present a larger-scale exhibition suited for the capacious venue. Three floors of the time-honored four-story building are dedicated to this exhibition, some parts of which display Yun’s works in juxtaposition with the works of Mariano Fortuny owned by the museum. Yun Hyong-keun’s works, hanging casually in their intrinsic nonchalance inside the historical architecture layered with time, leave an impression distinct from that of the MMCA Seoul exhibition.
