Mihye Cha focuses on how different objects in different worlds relate atypically. Paying attention to the blurring points of seemingly rigid standards and boundaries, Cha sheds light on the fragile or feeble-looking objects that form parts of the world. Cha features voices that are not spoken in the learned language, events that cannot be controlled or predicted, and the will or vitality of existence that is not fully revealed, through video, performance, installation, etc. Along with solo exhibitions 《Oblique》(Art Space Hyeong, 2017), 《Full, Empty, Floating》(Cake gallery, 2015), 《Echo, Inescapable》(Corner Art Space, 2013), Cha participated in group exhibitions and film festivals such as 《Animal Loop》(Art Space Gong-won, 2019), 《France & Korea, traces & memories revealed》(SeMA Storage, 2018), and 《Remembering or Floating》(Atelier Nord ANX gallery, Norway, 2017).
