Artist

Jeamin Cha

Jeamin Cha was born in Seoul in 1986. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Korea National University of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Design and Arts. She is a recipient of the Doosan Yonkang Art Award (2013). She has held solo exhibitions at Doosan Gallery Seoul (2014) and Doosan Gallery New York (2015) and been part of numerous group exhibitions, including “Surface Shorts” ( Surface Gallery Nottingham, 2011), “The Song of Slant Rhymes” ( Kukje Gallery, Seoul, 2013), Berlin International Film Festival (2015), Gwangju Biennale (2016), and Mediacity Seoul (2016). Her works have also been screened at GAITE LYRIQUE and Centre Pompidou (2011) and Palais de Tokyo (2012), among others.
