Chung Soyoung

Born in Paris in 1979, Chung Soyoung graduated from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in 2003. Chung has been producing installation works that construct and deconstruct the properties of a space based on its formativeness. Through public art and collaboration projects, Chung is expanding the scope of her work into the realm of transforming locality. Since her return to Korea in 2007, she’s held solo exhibitions at Kumho Museum of Art, Project Space SARUBIA, OCI Museum, D Project Space at Daelim Museum, and at the Offsite Art Sonje, while participating in several international group shows and residency programs.
