Artist

Jung Hyeryun

With a BFA and a PhD from the Department of Fine Arts of the College of Arts at Pusan National University, Jung Hyeryun became the first laureate of the First Soorim Cultural Foundation’s Soorim Arts Award founded in 2017. Jung held more than twenty solo exhibitions including Serial Possibility-planet at Higure17-15 CAS in Tokyo (2016), A Line of the Projection at Project B6 in Busan (2016), and Serial Possibility-planet at AVENUEL Art Hall in Seoul (2015). In 2012, Jung was selected as Young Artist of the Year by Kim Chong Yung Museum, and she held more than 20 times of solo exhibitions and partook in several group shows and residency programs in and outside of Korea.
