Chun Soo Kim received his BFA in Photography from Chung-Ang University College of Arts in 2007 and his MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in the United Kingdom, in 2012. He has held solo exhibitions including 《Model Tour》 (Space VaVa, Seoul, 2007), 《Resort》 (Insa Art Center, Seoul, 2009) and 《Low Cut, Low Pass》 (Ilwoo Space, Seoul, 2018). Kim has also participated in a large number of group exhibitions, such as 《Sex in the City》 (Sarahlee Artworks, Santa Monica, US, 2008), 《Sway in the Space》 (Daegu Photo Biennale 2008), 《Don't Leave Me This Way》 (ArtCentreBethanien, Berlin, 2012) and 《Instruction for the Audience》 (Seoul Museum of Art Bunker, Seoul, 2018). Kim was the recipient of an exhibition grant from the Seoul Foundation of Arts and Culture in 2014 and the winner of the 2018 Ilwoo Photography Award in the exhibition category.
