Meeyoung Kim earned her BFA in Korean Painting from Ewha Womans University in 2008 and her MFA in Painting from the Royal College of Art in London, the United Kingdom, in 2014. She has completed art residencies in various countries including France, the United Kingdom, Finland and Iceland, where she also exhibited her work. She held her first solo exhibition 《Disconnected Connection》 at Gallery Dos, in 2012, which was followed by 《Sunlight House》 (L’espace 71, Seoul, 2016), 《Wet on Wet》 (Leehwaik Gallery, Seoul, 2017) and 《Painted Painting》 (Gallery Kiche, Seoul, 2018). Kim has also participated in a string of group exhibitions including 《Wonderful Pictures》 (Ilmin Museum of Art, Seoul, 2010).
