Leeum Museum of Art, one of the top art museums in Korea, reopens its doors to the public after long hiatus. Leeum Museum unveils new permanent collection exhibitions and the large-scale special exhibition titled 《Human, 7 questions》held until Jan. 2, 2022, and displays around 130 works by 50 Korean and foreign artists. The exhibition raises a fundamental question about what it means to be 'human,' one of the most significant art sources as we confront social inequality in the fast-changing world and the pandemic. This exhibition " features some 50 artists of various ethnicity, gender, race, age, and sexual orientation. The seven questions asked at the exhibition are reflection, staging, distortion, fragility, equivalence, avidness, and cohabitation. The exhibition also seeks to reconsider human values that have been taken for granted : "What are the conditions that define humanity? How are the boundaries between me, the Other, and the world changing? And, are we ready to coexist with unfamiliar beings beyond humans?"
