《Berlin meets Seoul》 organized by Kunstleben Berlin in partnership with CHOI&CHOI is held at Bermel von Luxburg Gallery throughout 19th March 2022. The exhibition celebrates cultural and artistic exchange of ideas between Germany and Korea.

In cooperation with the galleries CHOI&CHOI in Seoul and Bermel von Luxburg in Berlin, Kunstleben Berlin continues its “Berlin meets … series”. Under the title “Menschsein / Being Human” Kunstleben Berlin Berlin meets Seoul in the gallery Bermel von Luxburg under the curatorial direction of Dr. Rania Sid Otmane presents eleven renowned artists from both countries.

The exhibition 《Berlin meets Seoul》 will then follow in the Korean capital in November 2022. In the CHOI&CHOI gallery, artists from both countries will then show their works of art to a broad public. The exhibitions will be accompanied by interesting programs.

Berlin meets Seoul is a project of Kunstleben Berlin in collaboration with CHOI&CHOI (formerly CHOI&LAGER) Gallery, a contemporary art gallery based in Cologne (since 2012) and Seoul. Since the gallery’s inception, directors Jinhee and Sunhee Choi have built an extensive network of artists and institutions, ranging from Korea to London, Paris, Berlin, and Geneva, to facilitate greater cultural exchange between metropolises.
